Century Hospitality Solutions welcomes you to/for this unique, your customized Safari to the wild, the Masai Mara National Reserve, the Eighth Wonder of the world. This morning you'll meet up with your guide/driver in the nation’s capital, Nairobi and head off to the Masai Mara for a 5 to 6 hours’ drive. The Mara road safari is via the central highlands of Kenya with views of subsistence farmlands and local communities. Along the safari route - there shall be stops to view interesting attractions including the Great Rift Valley escarpment. At the escarpment - you shall descend to the floors of the rift valley escarpment for a drive through Masai country as we progress to the Mara.
You’ll arrive in time for lunch; enjoy your well prepared meal, check into the luxurious lodge or your tented camp that are self-contained and fitted with feature beds and en-suite bathroom areas. Exchange some laughter and drive expedience before heading for the afternoon game drive. With the great experience of your driver, feel free to chat with her/him for details on the game view before getting back to your tented camp/lodge for dinner and sleep-over in this world wonder wild. In the night you can hear surprising ‘songs’ of different animal sounds as they communicate with each other in the darkness – worthy reason to visit here!
An evening sundowners cocktail as you view the sun go down is a good way to end the day at an extra cost.
Day 2: Full day game viewing in the park
Enjoy a box lunch while you travel (included in tour price).
Head out this morning after breakfast, accompanied by an experienced tracker guide, on an exciting game viewing adventure. Search some of the area’s wildlife hot-spots, determined by your guide, as have an understanding of the games daily routines through tracking. Some wildlife, for instance the Cheetahs & Leopards, are more difficult to spot than others, though common. These camouflage cats blend almost seamlessly into the tall grass and shrubbery, and are even more challenging to spot up in their favorite hangouts, the trees. Your guide will take you to nearby watering holes, where on a hot day you’ll spot many bird and wildlife species, including the elusive Leopard. The Mara has a bad species of almost 450.
The eco-diversity games reserve will also present you an opportunity to see the African Big 5; the African Elephants, Cape Buffalos, Rhinoceros and the plains’ roaring King of the Jungle, the Lion. The term Big 5 was coined by big-game hunters, as these species were the most difficult and dangerous to track and hunt. Numerous other wild species that inhabit the reserve and will see include Hyenas, Gazelles, Impalas, Zebras, Vultures, Eagles, Falcons, Ostriches, Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, topis, hartebeests, wildebeest, zebras and hippos
Though not guaranteed, you might have an opportunity to see some crossing of the last wildebeests moving to the south, Serengeti Eco-system and if further lucky, a kill in action on the river banks or in the Mara river!
Special to note; See & observe Impala, one of Africa's most beautiful and graceful animals. Previously thought to be part of the gazelle tribe, Impalas have been found to be so different that they are now classified as their own sub-family status. When frightened or startled the whole impala herd starts randomly leaping to confuse their predator. They can jump distances more than 10 meters (33 ft.) and 3 meters (9 ft.) high. Leopards, cheetah, lions and wild dogs prey on impala. Impala can reach running speeds of approximately 50 to 55 mph (80 to 90 km/h) to escape its predators.
Return in the evening for Dinner and overnight at your Camp/ Lodge.
Early morning, on this final day crossing to the finish line, we start the day with an early morning game drive from 6.30am to 9.00am and you might still be lucky to witness hunting. We depart from our safari lodge/camp at 10a.m after breakfast and take an en-route game drive through the Mara on this day three on our way back to ‘interaction’ with the protruding structures in the Capital, Nairobi, arriving at about 16:30 in the afternoon ending the Safari upon arrival.
